Black Sheep Studios is a project I was assigned to create an original logo for a company with the minimum of three colors. I chose to create a punk rock sheep with purple hair for flair and a triple helix piercing on the ear. I wanted to create an identity for the company that was more expressive than the name implied. There is also a stroke on the body of the sheep to emphasize the curls of sheep wool. There is a spray paint type-face for "Black Sheep" over a Helvetica "Studios".
I then took this logo and created a poster for an event hosted by the company. The poster includes the logo, a tag line, information about the event, and contact information. The idea behind the poster is to make it seem like a graffiti wall in order to resonate with the style and face of the original logo. This allows the poster and the logo to encompass the same identity as one.
